The Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill is a ‘momentous milestone’ in the Indian history of tax reform. The new tax regime is ushering in a world of unexplored opportunities for organizations. However, there are unprecedented IT challenges that they need to navigate through. As organizations of all sizes are embarking on a journey of complex and elaborate migration to the new regime, we, at Dell EMC India, are forging ahead to play a key role in accelerating this migration process, leveraging our strong capabilities and market-leading portfolio of converged infrastructure, storage, servers, and data protection technologies.
Recently, we have collaborated with SAP to assist Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) all over the country to get GST-ready. As the preferred technology option by SAP, our comprehensive on-premises digital ERP-ready servers will be deployed in the company’s software, thereby paving customers’ journey towards GST-compliance. Harnessing our entire end-to-end HW stack, customers can enjoy seamless integration between different platforms. The pre-packaged GST in a Box solution will be made available for MSMEs in as many as 30 SAP GST solution centers across 15 cities.
SAP’s GST solution powered by Dell EMC’s edge-to-core technology solution stack will drive MSMEs to transform digitally while ensuring a smooth-sailing and rapid transition to a digital ERP system by:
- Creating user-friendly and effective interfaces with tax administrators and taxpayers tapping into SAP’s worldwide experience
- Providing infrastructure and services comprising file and document management in accordance with the guidelines of both Central and State governments
- Setting, implementing, and facilitating standards to extend SAP’s GST solution for corporates
- Enriching and implementing the SAP ecosystem in the country to take care of this transition
I am quite optimistic that our partnership with SAP will dawn a new era of possibilities in the new GST regime.
