DELL EMC WORLD: DRIVING DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION WITH FUTURE FOCUSED TECHNOLOGIES

Dell EMC World 2017 delineated the surging innovations in technology which are driving transformations across Information Technology, Information Security, Workforce and Digital Platforms. This event has always been a showcase of the constantly changing requirements of the industry and forming path for a whole new future of technologies, which are swift yet impeccable; pliable yet invincible; and simple yet inventive.

As we say, it’s time to TRANSFORM or you will be slayed by your competitors.

And, to not escape that, this year the show expressed the synergetic vision of the two giants as they foresee and define the future together. The energy was astounding when Michael Dell introduced the event saying: “This isn’t our show, this is your show. It’s about how you’re changing the world and using transformation to change your businesses."
With the vision on innovations around data center and data protection, 14th generation PowerEdge server portfolio was launched which is a foundation to cloud and software led data centres. It’s the bedrock of the new data centres, comprising of scalable business architecture, intelligent automation and integrated security. Plus, it will also provide protection against modern cyber threats and simplify systems management. Herein, the data protection is aimed to expand with Dell EMC integrated Data Protection Appliance (IDPA). Inevitably, our endeavors make us lead the league and we’ll continue to be the No.1 in cloud, data and security.
Various innovative products were launched at the event, which will further strengthen Dell EMC’s leadership in making digital transformation happen and making it real. The refreshed product line from Dell EMC, starting from servers, mid-range storage to flagship product VMAX, will also be very beneficial for customers. In fact, keeping low-end customers in mind, the company has also changed the price range of VXRail Hyper-Converged Systems‎.

Workforce Transformation- the most crucial element of Digital Transformation

Digital transformation is not only going to drive transformation in IT, but also a transformation in the workforce. Workforce Transformation was a vital subject at Dell EMC World meet and we planned to unveil & showcase an inescapable and imperative side of “workforce transformation”, which emerges as a key role player in the digital expansion and global growth of the businesses today.
Transformation is a colossal, indefinable term which comprises of every contributing-to-growth aspect of businesses, yet the root contributor ‘workforce’ is generally overlooked in the plan. However, on the rational side, whenever a technology arises and is adopted by a business, it majorly impacts the workforce – integrating that technology in the process, embracing it for everyday developments and changing with it. It’s essential for that technology to be compatible with the workforce.
Emphasizing on the gravity of the subject, Michael Dell, President and CEO of Dell Technologies also said, “The workforce and the workplace are changing.
