It was once again an exhilarating experience to be a part of this year’s Dell Technologies World in Las Vegas. Masterminds from across the globe shared insights into emerging technologies and solutions, while accelerating digital transformation for different organizations. The leaders gave a sneak-peek into the future of technology and how organizations can harness the power of technology to thrive in the digital-future.
Organizations today are looking for ways to optimize the tsunami of data. They need IT strategy that can grow with them. This path was highlighted at the Dell Technologies World that saw attendees from the world over. Business leaders and technologists, gathered together to collaborate, innovate and discover new ways to deliver better business outcomes and customer experiences, thus bridging the gap towards ‘Real Transformation’.
Truly Better Together All the Way
At the event, three blockbuster announcements stole the limelight. To start things off on a high note, the Dell Technologies Unified Workplace1 was announced. A coming together of hardware and services from Dell, VMware’s Workspace ONE and Secure Works, Dell Technologies Unified Workspace is poised to revolutionize the way end-users are assisted and enabled by their IT admins through device selection, deployment, security, management and support, while providing flexible, scalable services and solutions.
Dell Technologies Cloud2 was unveiled with combined capabilities of VMware and Dell EMC infrastructure. This set of cloud solutions is strategized to transform hybrid cloud environments into something simpler, which includes private cloud, public cloud and the edge. This will empower organizations in achieving the scale, speed, and cost structures required in the cloud faster than ever.
The third big announcement was made together by Satya Nadella, Pat Gelsinger and Michael Dell about the joint solution aimed at bringing the VMware environments into the Azure cloud3. This partnership will also pave the way for a jointly developed integration between Microsoft 365, and VMware's Workspace ONE device management platform.
Apart from these announcements, the event revealed inventive solutions that are aimed at equipping customers to make the best use of 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), hybrid-cloud, edge, software defined infrastructure and modernization of the workforce. Bringing out a wow factor at the event, from the edge perspective, was the Latitude 74004. From the core perspective, we revealed the Unity XT, for data protection appliances the PowerProtect5, and the PowerSwitch from the networking perspective. Another announcement that grabbed audiences’ attention was the fully managed data center as a service solution with VxRail.
Customers and Partners making an Impact
